The final story of this love story. Travel through the ages and back to the present as a Luce solves the mystery of her life. It's very lovey with lots of kisses and also fighting dangerous foes.

Beauty and the Beast by Jenni James
It's not your typical story of the a man transformed to a beast magically. It's different. A little fluffy but fine for any reader of fairy tales. Enjoy.

Under the Never Sky : Roar and Liv by Veronica Rossi
I really like this series. This is a novella. A really short story you can read in an hour. It gives the backstory of Liv and Roar and Perry and Vale. It fills in the story that dovetails to the first book Under the Never Sky. I like this series for the library. Will put on my shopping list. Enjoy.
Swarm by Scott Westerfeld
This is the series to read for Young Adults. It's a dangerous read and it is good. I'm getting this for the library. It's a thriller with super powers. And the ultimate evil villain. It's a very good read.
The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson

Death and the Girl Next Door by Darynda Jones
Save your time on this one and pass. I couldn't even finish it because it was just focused on the new hot boy for the beginning. Story line has potential but it didn't work. I'd say skip this book.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
I liked this series so far. I am considering it for my high school library. It's a bit dystopian, apocalyptic and mystery. Throw in a little romance and mystery and you've got a dangerous story. Enjoy.
The Land of Stories An Author’s Odyssey by Chris Colfer
I am delighted this young man who is an actor, singer and author comes from my neck of the woods. He has lots of talent and has created an entertaining series. The audio book is awesome. The reader nailed the character's voices. Enjoy, it's a good read.
Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett
Do you like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Perhaps Dr. Who tickles your fancy. All right then enjoy this quirky silly fun book. It's for a special target audience. As much as I enjoyed the story, I wouldn't get it for the high school library because not everyone would get it. If you're a reader and you like quirky then this book is for you. Enjoy.
Liv, Forever by Amy Talkington
I liked this story. I would get it for my high school library. There's a deadly mystery and pattern that runs along the lines of a cult. The story works well for a teen read. It's an read with mystery and romance, ghosts and communication. Enjoy.
Crash by Nicole Williams
Sexy cover does not make a good story. Save time and money and just skip this one. It's not engaging at all and is raw and edgy. Not sure what the editor was thinking on this one. Sigh.

It's a good story. I'm thinking I would like to add this to my high school library. Enjoy. It's a good read.

My First Summer in the Sierra by John Muir
This book would be a good gift to those who love history, science and the art of word. An appreciation for these subjects and the beauty of the wilderness is found in the personal words of John Muir who was such a powerful part of turning Yosemite into a National Park. It's a good read and fine for any personal library. Enjoy.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses by Jenni James
It's fine for any personal library. Fairytales and magic blend with political power grabs. It's simply charming in this retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses.
In the Sorcerer's Ring A March of Kings by Morgan Rice
If you like Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and Merlin series then this book series is for you.
There are evil characters, noble characters and romance. Oh and a little magic as well. Throw in a mystery and you have the makings of a good story. I wouldn't put it in a high school library, I think it's perfect for private personal libraries. Enjoy!
A story of Discworld The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett
It's a good story. Maybe not for high school library more for personal libraries. It's a different kind of story. It's an independent story so a reader can read this no matter where they are in the series. It's quirky and funny and silly. Enjoy.

Until we Meet Again by Renee Collins
At first I didn't like Cassandra. I decided to stick with the story and I'm glad I did. I was afraid that the time travel merge story would be forced and not work. I was wrong. It works. I was also afraid the ending wouldn't work. I was wrong the ending works. So enjoy the book. It's fine for any high school library.

The Protector of the Small Quartet: Squire by Tamora Pierce
Go back to a medieval magical world where girls aren't suppose to be a knight except for one and now another one. Sometimes the right person is there for the job no matter who they are and might not fit in to the traditional sense of who should have the job. It's a good read.
Rosie and the Dance of the Dinosaurs by Betty Ren Wright
It's a nice story. Things are a bit pat at the end but if you are looking for a nice story for a young child then this has possibilities. The story is fine for any library at the elementary level.

The Protector of the Small Quarter Page by Tamora Pierce
I like this series. Tamora Pierce has lots of series and some interlock. This does follow a different thread of stories. I love that we can watch this young girl become a young woman and she is a strong character of integrity. She is an excellent role model. I look forward to watching her grow up in the next two series. It has humor, magic and adventure. Perfect for any young girl to enjoy reading. Fine for any library. Happy readings.

Girl at War by Sara Novic
It's a fictional work that could oh be so true. It's a tragedy with hope. The tragedy is the war. Sara Novic is a genius creating this story. It's not an easy read but it's an important read. This book brings understanding to the world of what the real story is behind the headline stories. A must read and a should be in any library.
Baseball in April by Gary Soto
This should be in every high school library. I think I have it on my but now I'm going to double check. It's a good read. Enjoy these short stories.

Confessions: The Private School Murders by James Patterson
I love a good who done it and this works. Plus some family drama and some strange parents who use their children as test subjects for special pills. It makes for a good murder drama. The story is told by Tandy's view point and it works. It's smart and surprising. Fine for any high school library. Enjoy.

Princess for a Week by Betty Ren Wright
This is good for elementary school libraries. The stories tend to be a bit pat and a perfect wrap up but sometimes it's nice to just have a sweet little story and everything happens just right at the end. It's nice for young children especially if they are missing their parents in the service.

The Circle Opens Magic Steps by Tamora Pierce
The story continues. It's a mystery and it's also about addiction. I like how Tamora Pierce connects elements of the real world troubles fused into a fantasy story. Enjoy.

A time to dance by Padma Venkatraman
This is a must for any teen library. Just like the story of Pax, where three characters have injured legs, this too has a character who must learn to walk and find strength again. This book is now on my shopping list for my library. Enjoy. Well written.
Pax by Sara Pennypacker
This story has many layers to it. Healing heart and health, emotions and souls. Peter meets a veteran who has lost a leg in a previous war. Pax encounters foxes and as a result one fox loses a leg. Peter ends up breaking his leg and staying with the vet. Both fox and boy learn and grown as they adapt to the world around them. It's a beautiful story and fine for any library. Enjoy.

Emelan The Will of The Empress by Tamora Pierce
I read this out of order but there is enough information to follow the story along. I like the story. This would be more for high school level then lower levels now that these young people are teens. The four face what Sandry's people must face with young girls forced to be kidnapped as potential wives. I think it's a good book to have in the library because there are some cultures that have these situations. Also about handling taxes and taking care of political power. It's a good series. Fine for any high school library.
The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall by Katie Alender
It's good, and here's the spoiler, Delia dies early on in the story and the rest of the story is her as a ghost dealing with her own death and learning about the ghostly ways and meeting the other ghosts. I did enjoy it. It was an okay story. Enjoy.

Crater Trueblood is one character you will want to meet. It's a good story. I'm going to get for my high school library. Enjoy, it's a good read.
