Learning from her grandfather and goes out to help another village, she makes new friends. And then the mayor's niece shows up. A girl who tormented Arianwyn back in their home town. Meanwhile danger becomes much more intense. A good read. Fine for any school library.

The Fifth Realm #1 Spin of Fate by A.A. Vora is a book with a lot of characters. I'm going to pass on this one for my school library. It's okay but just that in my thinking.

Arch-Conspirator by Veronica Roth This is a futuristic retelling of the classic Greek Antigone. I think it would be interesting to compare the two stories. It's a good book/audibook. I wouldn't get it for my library but maybe for a class novel.

Spy×Family #8 SPY×FAMILY 8 by Tatsuya Endo is a graphic novel I am enjoying. So far this is the one that I won't be buying for the library. There is a lot of violence in this graphic novel. The Assassin is pretty busy protecting a family that has a hit on in. There are multiple hit people and it's a blood bath as she takes each one out. It's still a good graphic novel and the bad guys get it but I'm not comfortable putting this one in my high school library.

The Wall of Life is a quick delightful book that Shirley Maclaine wrote about the story of her life. It's a light book that shares aspects of her life, growing up, dancing, her family and her friends. A good read and a good audibook. Enjoy.

Black Star takes us back in time when things were unkind and unfair toward black people. A good book to add to any children and middle school library. Audiobook also very good. Add this one to your library.

The Brightwood Code by Monica Hesse

The Brightwood Code by Monica Hesse is an excelent historic fiction story. I got to listen to the audiobook. Fine for any high school library. I would say read first because there is a near rape scene and multiple victims. An important read.

Uprising by Jennifer A Nielsen

This is a perfect story to add to a middle school library and also for using to teach Poland history. Uprising is based on a real person. The audiobook is also very good. This fleshes out history and the Polish Uprising. It's worth having in your school library. An important read.

The Worst Ronin by Maggie Tokuda Hall & Faith Schaffer

Overall I enjoyed this graphic novel. Would I put it in my high school library? Probably not. There are a bunch of F*bombs and I would let readers know about the public library that is carrying it. The Worst Ronin is well drawn. It is a good read with conflict and snappy conversations. Good action.

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson

Tress of the Emerald Sea is a lovely story. As I was listening to the audiobook, it reminded me of the opposite of The Princess Bride. Turns out the author did share that Princess Bride was a bit of an inspiration for this story. I loved this story. Love, adventure, tea cups, magic and pirates. What more can a read wish for??? This is the book. Perfect for any library. Enjoy.

Royal Blood by Aimee Carter

I liked Royal Blood, enjoyed the characters and the snappy conversations. Who can she trust? Who is out to get her? It's a good read and a good audiobook. Great job nailing the accents. One thing to note is that Evan gets drugged with a date rape drug that puts her in a dangerous situation. Just a heads up. Over all it's a good book and strong story line. No King Charles is not that king. Instead it's a different family. Enjoy.
