As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith
I liked this book and will get for my high school library. The characters learn a lot about life, relationship and the responsibility of money management. There's romance and friendship. There is the loss by death of parents and being raised by family, there is the dad with the gambling addiction that affects the lives of family as well. The characters grow from teens to young adults and learn to see life with new lenses. Enjoy.
