Assistant to the Villain is a very entertaining story. It's fantasy and romance. Mainly adult but it could be YA as well. I liked this story a lot and look forward to reading book 2. A lot of humor in this magical story. Enjoy.

Fear the Flames by Olivia Rose Darling

Fear the Flames is a very adult and for mature readers due to lots of sexy scenes. Basically a very sexy romance fantasy for adults. Definitely not YA or school library materials.

Impossible Creatures by Katherine Rundell

Impossible Creatures is a good book with similarities of the real world if you look for it. A good read and a good listen. Fine to add to any middle school library.

Roar-Choo! by Charlotte Cheng and Dan Santat

A beautiful illustrated book, Roar-Choo! is a delighful book about a sick dragon and a nurturing phoenix. Perfect for any children's library.

I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons by Peter S. Beagle

I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons is a charming story about an infestation of dragons and three main characters who want what something different then what their parents want. It's funny and humorous, but maybe over teens heads. It's a story that will stay with you if you love fantasy and adventure. The audiobook was well done.

The Ogress and the Orphans by Kelly Barnhill

The Ogress and the Orphans by Kelly Banhill is a perfect allegory of how mobs of people can worship a politician and believe every word they say. How kindness can make a difference. How people can be incited into a dangerous mob. A good allegory of the Nazi regime of a certain orange politician who incitied violence in a certain capital city. Yep I went down that road. It's a goo story just to read or listen to. Perfect for any school or public library. Hopefully some radical person doesn't try to ban this book. A good story with a lesson if you look for it. I plan on reading more Kelly Barnhill works.

Dragon RIder by Taron Matharu

I listened to the audiobook of Dragon Rider. It's perfect for public libraries. Because of the language, I wouldn't put it in a high school library. It's a good traditional power story. I've read so many to be able to predict but that's me. I was entertained and would read the second in the series once it's out. Enjoy.

On wings of Ash and Dust by Brittany Wang

On Wings of Ash and Dust is a great YA fantasty book for any high school library!This has it all and will entertain any fantasy loving teen to read. I did listen to the audiobook and it was well done. It's a good read. Enjoy.

Sky's End by Marc J. Gregson

Sky's End by Marc J Gregson was surpising entertaining. A young teen trained by his warrior father has endured much which has prepared him for his fate. His farmily went from being high up in society to fallen to down times. Conrad, our hero, must take control of his own fate. The audiobook also good. Fine for high school libraries.

The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom by Christopher Healy

Oh you have to listen to the audio book.  It's too funny.  A fractured fairy tale that will fit in any library.
