My Hero Academia, Vol. 1 by Kohei Horikoshi , Caleb D. Cook

I liked this book, My Hero Academia book 1. I would get it for my school library. The story line is fine with the theme that a regular person can be a hero. The graphics are appropriate. The relation ship of friends and enemies is a good story line.

Avatar the Last Airbender Smoke and Shadow Part 3 is a graphic novel. It has dynamic colors and a good energy as a group of warriors fight to get kidnapped children back. Fine for any high school library.

Faith taking Flight by Julie Murphy

Faith Taking Flight by Julie Murphy has a lot going on in it. I don't think I'll be putting it in my high school library. The story really didn't grab me. I felt there was just way to much going on with it. But I'm glad the public library does carry it.

The Oracle Code by Marieke Nijkamp & Preitano

I liked this graphic novel.  Angry injured soul who feels like she lost everything, rebuilds her world and solves a mystery.  Fine for any school library.

 

Under the Moon by Lauren Myracle

I thought it was a good graphic novel but I wouldn't put it in the library. There is some f*bombs and a few sexual references.  It would be best in a public library.

 

Superman Smashes The Klan by Gene Luen Yang

 I liked this book so much.  It's the retelling of Superman and bringing in a group of a Klan group who only believe in one group of people.  I liked the Chinese family that moved into the city.  It's a good read and fine for any school library.

Wonder Woman Tempest Tossed by Laurie Halse Anderson & Leila Del Duca

This is a good graphic novel to add to any school library. Diana is 16 years old and trapped on the other side of her island and can't get back. She ends up in New York City fighting against traficers who kidnap children. It's a good read.

Primer by Muro, Krajewski and Lusky

This graphic novel is fine for any middle school or even upper elementary school library collection. I liked the main character and we have students in foster care so it is good to see some characters as the main character of the book. A good read.

Mera Tidebreaker by Danielle Paige and Stephen Bryne

 

I liked this graphic novel.  It's an under the sea and on land, two young people from opposite sides ends up falling in love.  Will it broker peace or a further war?  Read and find out.  Fine for any high school library.  Good graphics also.

Gotham High by Melissa de la Cruz & Pitilli

 A cast of characters in this graphic novel about people of Gotham City.  

Black Canary Ignite by Meg Cabot & Cara McGee

 A graphic novel fine for both middle school and high school.  The daughter of Canary, also has her mother's impressive voice that can do much damage.  Meanwhile, her family is being tailed by an old enemy.  It's up to Dinah to save the day. 

Super sons The Polarshield Project by Ridley Pearson

 The sons and daughters of super heroes band together to find out what is causing a comma illness.  They face bullies and climate changes.  It's fine for school libraries.

Green Lantern Legacy by Minh Le & Andie Tong

Minh Le is a talented in creating stories.  This graphic novel has great images and the story line is nicely created.  I'm looking forward to seeing more of this in the series.  Love the back story on the grandmother.  I'm adding this to my high school library.

Black Canary Breaking Silence by Alexanra Monir

 

I liked this book.  Music is squished and girls aren't able to sing.  And then Dinah Lance finds her voice and her voice can be used to fight the bad guys.  A good read.  I would add this to my high school library.

Shuri The Vanished by Nic Stone

 I liked it.  If you have students who like super hero stories, add this one to your school library.  A strong intelligent young woman who investigates on her own a mystery.  Good read.

Avatar The Last Airbender The Rise of Kyoshi by F. C. Yee

It's a good read.  A page turner.  The characters and plot well developed and the action and game plan are well described.  It's a good read and I will get for my high school library.  Enjoy.

The Conference of the Birds by Ransom Riggs

Every  book gets better and better!  This is a great series and it is amazing how the plot and characters keep evolving.  Enjoy!  Also the audio books are great! Get this for your library. 

Infinity Cycle Infinity Son by Adam Silveria

It's not your traditional super hero story.  Two brothers who find out their family has been keeping secrets from them.  It's all right.  Not my favorite but it's okay.

Renegades Supernova by Marissa Meyer

I'm getting this for my library.  It's a good series.  Brought to you by the author of Cinder.  Enjoy the drama of it all.
