Our Castle by the Sea written by Lucy Strange

Our Castle by the Sea is brilliant. Two girls have to see their innocent artistic German mother be placed in an internment camp. Their father confesses to a dangerous act. They help with Dunkirk and look for a spy. The audibook also very good. This is a fantastic book to add to any school library.

The Rose Code by Kate Quinn

Serious good read.  A must read.  A brilliant read.  A page turner read.  Loved that Prince Phillip is in this story, since he just recently passed away.  I love a good spy page turner and this is the one.  I highly recommend this story.  Brilliant read and a good audio book as well.

The Emperor of Any Place by Tim Wynne-Jones

This is one incredible story that was hard to put down.  The ghosts.  The enemies working together.  and the family secrets.  Told in two timelines, this story is captivating.  I'm getting it for my high school library.  It's an incredible read.

The Disappearances by Emily Bain Murphy

The audio book is good.  Would I buy it for my high school library, probably not but I'm glad the public library has it.  It's different but it's fine.
