The Gift by Freida McFadden

If you know the story of The Gift Of The Magi by O'Henry, you will appreciate this updated contemporary twist on this story. Freida McFadden did a great job of twisting this story up. Lots of new surprises and parallels on the old story but she makes it her own. The audiobook also very good. A young barely making it couple have a Christmas Eve together that they'll never forget.
