As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Ready Player One Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline
A lot of reference to the 80's, bands, movies, games and more. The story is set way past the 80's. I would love to meet Ernest Cline and hear how he came up with this book. The first book was good and I think this is even better. Read the first to get the second. There is a bit of sex and drugs mentioned so I would say not for high school libraries. But for personal read and public libraries, perfect. Audio book is also good read by Wil Wheaton, an actor who started his career in the 80's as a young one. He does a great job reading the book. enjoy.
