Think Lord of the Rings with out wizards and dragons, think a new series Ember's End and throw in a bit of Narnia with talking animals. It's a great classic series. A good adventure book with animals in the role of people. Good vs. evil. Audio book also good. Enjoy. Fine for any school library.
