As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg
What would happen if you blended Disneyland, West World and Blade Runner together. Oh boy! you would get The Kingdom. I liked this story a lot. Yes, there were some holes in it but over all it was good and fine for high school libraries. I liked the idea of artificial robots that develop their own identities over time, as they entertain guests in roles of princess. There is a dark side, as people use them for their own dark pleasures and then erase their memories. Fine for any high school library. Enjoy.
