As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Shouting at the Rain by Lynda Mullaly Hunt
Trying to figure out life when you are young can be challenging. Delsie and Ronin are missing parents in their lives. They have people who love them but they are filled with so many emotions. Have you ever had young people that were filled with so many emotions that they may have a hard time processing the all? Read the book. It's good.
