As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Maybe A Fox by Appelt & McGhee
This book is about grief and the relationship of sisters. The book would be fine for older elementary and middle school. A father is looking for his lost daughter but never finds the body. The remaining sister must deal with going to school after the mysterious death of the sister. It's okay. Not my favorite but it does have a mystical element to it.
