As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Mandela’s Way by Richard Stengel
There are leaders and then there are leaders. Mandela was a leader from when he was sent to live with his tribal chief. He wasn't perfect but he was humble and had endured so much. Fighting for his people, to end apartheid. Locked up for years and later freed to become a world leader, how was he as a leader? Read and find out. It's a good book.
