I liked the spirit of Sal, humor and adventure in a swashbuckler type of style. It's also a sexy book and political complexity to this story. Sal is gender fluid. I think that some of the content of this book, makes this a better fit for public libraries and personal libraries. I would say read this book before putting in a high school library. It does have some mature content to it.
