This is a must for any school, ,public and personal library. I have had the privilege to meet Chi, the author and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. This book as touched me, I have taught English as a second language in the 1980s 1990's to Hmong refugees. I have so much to learn what it is like to flee your home and move to another country for safety reasons. I think now more then ever it is important to have greater understanding in what people must go through as they miss their homes and people. Read this book. We need more of these books. It's a brave story for Hoang CHi Truong did to share her story with the rest of the world. A big thanks for writing this heartfelt book.
