No 1 Ladies Detective Agency The Double Comfort Safari Club by Alexander McCall Smith

If you enjoy mysteries and a mind trip to Africa, then this is the book for you.  A brilliant read and enjoyable as well.  The audiobooks are delicious to listen to. Fine for teens and adults.  Enjoy.

Code Girls by Liza Mundy

This book is a must read and be in all high school and public libraries.  The audiobook also very good.  Read this history and appreciate what these women did in their line of work.  Enjoy and learn.

Anna and the French Kiss Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

There is some mature content.  Great for public libraries.  I think I'll pass for high school.  Teen romance with an international flare.

The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick

This book has it all,  lots of life problems that some teens must face.  Tim is an alcoholic at a very young age.  Alice is taking care of her younger brothers and sisters, while dad is recovering from a car accident and mom is working and also is with child.  I would say this book is rated PG 13 and not for the school library.  There is sex in the book.  It's a very good book and I would recommend it to mature readers.  I'm glad the public library carries this book.

The Westing Game by Ellen Rasking

This award winning book has it all.  A great mystery, a huge reward and a random group of people.  It's a smart book to read.  Are you smart enough to pick up on the clues.  Enjoy this book it's a great read.  The audio book is also very good.  Great for all ages.

Leave Me Alone by Vera Brosgol

This is a charming picture book that has won awards.  Grandmothers will love this.  I think parents will love this an can identify with how distracting life can be.  I read the digital version online.  Great pictures and smart story.  A welcome addition to any children's library.

The City of Brass by . A. Chakraborty

This is a great story and I'm getting this for my library.  It has suspense, fairy tale, romance, adventure, politics, magic and mystery.  It's a good read and I think will be very popular in this library.

Shadow by Amanda Sun

This is an unusual story.  It's refreshingly different.  Think East meets West in this story telling adventure.  Mystery haunts this story.  I don't know if this available in print but it is find in ebook format. Fine for any high school library.

Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler

This book is perfect for any high school library.  It has family divorce, lots of romance, making ends meet and making smart choices.  It didn't end the way I thought it would.  It's a good read.  Enjoy and I know there will be some student who will certainly enjoy.

Hello, Universe by Erin Entrada Kelly

This is perfect for elementary library.  Four main diverse characters.  Each has a clearly defined problem or challenge.  They all work together to find a lost friend.  It's a good read.

Broken Beautiful Hearts by Kami Garcia

As much as I loved this book, I would skip putting this in my high school library.  I would rate it PG13 for mature content.  There's passionate sex in this book.  The book has solid characters with an abusive boyfriend.  A girl working hard to rebuild her broken body so she can play soccer again and facing her fears.

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins

This is a good book but there is some mature content.  Lola does have sex with her older boyfriend and had told him she was older then she was. I do like the book because she is a quirky girl who dares to make her fashion statements.  She has two great dads and must also face her birth mother who also has her life challenges.  This book is perfect for the public library.  Read the book before you decide for high school library.

Love by Matt De La Pena Illustrated: by Loren Long

This book is fine for any library, home or school.  Listen to the audio book as well.  The author does a great job reading his words.  His powerful words are a gift for all to read.  A great reading opportunity aloud for parents to read to their little ones.  Enjoy.

Wolf in the Snow by Matthew Cordell

This is a delightful book and should be a welcome addition to any library.  Enjoy.  The art work looks simple but don't let that fool you.  The emotions portrayed by the two main characters tells it all.  Enjoy.
