There is a lot the author packs into this story. Would I buy it for my high school, no. Okay for personal libraries, yes. Involved in the story is animal abuse, rescuing animals, friends, track, dating, working and having your own horses and multiple horses at that. We go into the world of cholic and horse lice and other parasites. The story is okay and the main character comes off a bit much in the whiney department.
