As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Geek Girl by Holly Smale
Harriet Manners is a charming British girl who is labeled as a geek since she knows so many facts. She's bullied by a fellow classmate for years and her father and step-mother have some relationship issues they need to figure out. This story is funny and touching. It's good and fine for any teen library. I like that Holly Smale, the author, was a teen model. It's a good read.
