As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Jinx by Meg Cabot
It's family dynamics and magic as Jean deals with her past and future. Her jealous cousin wants her to try her coven. Jinx tries to help her cousin walk away from it. But her cousin has revenge on her mind. It's fine for public libraries. I would say save your money for high school libraries. Think Mean Girls with witchcraft.
