As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
It's a story about magic and a lost country. It's okay. I'll read the second book in the series. I liked the Throne of Glass series better. This story feels a little forced. But it is fine for any library. Some battles going on but the tension just doesn't feel complete. I think the author has good potential in the stories to come.
