Rapture of the Deep by L. A. Meyer
Great series. You must hear the audio version. The audio reader is brilliant. She can sing and do accents and brings this story to life. And kudos to L. A. Meyer. I believe he has passed on. Jacky gets herself in to all kinds of trouble but with the loyalty of her friends and crew, she is always in an adventure.

Quake by Patrick Carman
It's page turning fight after fight. Four teens who can fly, lift heavy objects with their minds and create all sorts of damage. Patrick Carman really worked his imagination on this one.
Love, Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli
MUST BE IN ANY LIBRARY. Even perfect for middle school. If you have a daughter, give her both books. You'll thank me later!
Tremor by Patrick Carman

The Heir by Kiera Cass
It's been twenty years since Prince Maxon and America Singer have married and they have a family. Eadlyn was born 7 minutes before her twin brother. The story continues and yes there is still trouble with the now out dated caste system. The story continues. If you enjoy this series then here is another one for you to read. Fine for any library.
Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater
The story continues from Lament. It's a bit of modern fairy mythology blending with contemporary life. James is a piper who write on his arms all the time. James is also the hero of the story. It's solid writing. I recommend reading book 1 first. Enjoy.

Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater
This story is told by two different perspectives. Both characters are edgy and honest. It's a solid story. There is a naked man running around when he returns from wolfhood and also some bare breasts and sex that is implied. It's a good story if you are a fan of the Shiver series. Just want to give you a heads up in library world.

It's basically a retelling of book 1. It's an easy read especially for those who may not be strong readers and enjoy fairytales. It's a quick read, maybe about 10-20 minutes.

The Mermaid's Mirror by L. K. Madigan
First it's a clean book, no sex or drugs. It's fine for any library. It's a nice book but a bit of a snooze. The character development is stilted and the plot feels weak. I believe the author has potential and it's cool she had a book published. I would say save your money on this one.

Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
It's a story about magic and a lost country. It's okay. I'll read the second book in the series. I liked the Throne of Glass series better. This story feels a little forced. But it is fine for any library. Some battles going on but the tension just doesn't feel complete. I think the author has good potential in the stories to come.

Heaven is Paved with Oreos by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
This is a story that connects to the previous three stories. DJ is just a side character in this story. It's about her brother's girlfriend Sarah. It's not as strong as the other stories but it is sweet. It's fine.
