The Penderwicks on Gardeam Street by Jeanne Birdsall
This is a great book for any library. Any. Library. It's about family. It's a sweet story about rebuilding and recovering from the loss of a wife and mother. It's also about growing up. I wish this family lived in my neighborhood.
