This is just a fun mystery to read. It's contemporary but there is a ghost from the past in history that has family connections. The ghost is the nicest ghost that helps Sarah and gives her messages. This is a great mystery. It's my first in this series. I just dived in and you know what, you get the back story. Great danger and great mystery. Also good dialog and I love her animals that she takes on vacation. Her friends are pretty great too! I would read more of this series. Enjoy! Oh probably for adult reading. It's easy to read and there's no mature content concerns. I think teens would probably like reading this but not for a teen library. Again, enjoy for vacation reading.
