As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
This one of these books I wish I could write. Highly recommend it. The story stays with you long after you've read it. Really smart and well crafted. I look forward to reading the sequel. There is a nice video about the book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12394100-seraphina click on the book trailer.
