She has some bad encounters with men, misinformation and then the plantation owner son marries her. Things go really bad and dangerous choices must be made. Oh boy!

Toto has internal conflicts with in himself, is he a good dog? Or, is he a bad dog? Toto is the hero of this story as Dorthy and he navigate among the characters of Oz. A good read. Would I add this to a school library? No but I would encourage the link to the public libraries. Enjoy.

There is a demon who torments many lost souls and both siblings encounter this dangerous entity. I liked this story. It wasn't an easy listen to but at the end I thought it worked.
