As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Ranger's Apprentice: The Royal Ranger #7 Ambush at Sorato by John Flanagan
Ambush at Sorato is part of a great series. Do you have a young reader who enjoys adventure? This very smart book is entertaining and lots of fighting and outwitting the enemey. A great read, a great series.
The Ghost Cat by Alex Howard
The Ghost Cat is a brilliant story that follows a cat after he passes on. He has an attatchment to the little girl who rescued him and watches her as a ghost over years when he returns in different periods of time. And he also gets to see his home changes over time. A good read and travel through history.

Senior Sleuths Mystery #1 Peg and Rose Solve a Murder by Laurien Berenson
Peg and Rose Solve A Murder is a cozy murder mystery. Two older women that are inlaws who don't really like each other for years are now trying to patch things up. One is a dog judge and the other an ex-nun who married an ex-priest. It's a bit of a slow story line but I would read more of the books.
Spy×Family #4 Spy x Family, Vol. 4 by Tatsuya Endo , Casey Loe (Translator)
Spy Family #4 is a manga/anime series that I am enjoying. I would add this to my high school library. The characters are lieable and the story line works well.
No Map, Great Trip: A Young Writer’s Road to Page One by Paul Fleischman
No Map, Great Trip is an excellent book for anyone to read. If you know a teen writer, give them this book. I loved this book and perfect for any kind of library.
The Inn on Harmony Island by Anne-Marie Meyer
The Inn on Harmony Island is a slow story. It wasn't my cup of tea but fine for public libraries.
Deadly Little Scandals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Deadly Little Scandles has lots of secrets are revealed at the end of the story. Dangerous secrets that can get a person killed. Fine for public libraries. I'll skip adding this one to my high school library.
Knight Owl by Christopher Denise
Knight Owl is a picture book with lovely illustrations and an adorable story. Perfect for any children's library.
