The Cul-de-Sac War by Melissa Ferguson
This is a very cute romantic book. One of the few romantic books with out mature content. Super cute and great for a vacation. The audio book is also cute. Enjoy.
The Perfect Escape by Suzanne Park
This is a cute book and when students ask for romance books for teens, this is a great one to share out. I'm getting this one for my high school library. A cute read. Enjoy.
Mrs. Jeffries Dusts for Clues by Emily Brightwell
A great murder mystery set in the Victorian Times. I like how Mrs. Jeffries doesn't let on that she and the staff have been helping the detective. They are able to gather information that the detective is not able and makes this a fun read. Enjoy.
Have A Little Faith by Mitch Albom
Wow. A good book that parallels two men. One Jewish who has lived a long life. Growing up in the time of the Depression Era, the other is a Christian who's journey comes from doing bad stuff.
How their lives turned and turned again. One man is getting close to death, one man still on a path to help others.
A very good book to read or listen to.

Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer
I liked this story for my high school students. It's cute with the tension between the two opposite characters. As they learn about each other they end up caring for each other. What element is that Prudence seems to have the ability to send out karma to different people. It's a bit like a teen Pride and Prejudice. Enjoy.
The Story Sisters by Alice Hoffman
A dark story as the oldest sister is on a path of self destruction. She dives into the world of drugs that progressively gets worse. And meets people who are also on the self destruction path. Interesting story.

Her impressions of the men in her sister's lives, her figuring out life and her navigating through the Revolutionary War. It's perfect for high school libraries. Enjoy.

A Haunted Bookshop Mystery The Ghost and the Dead Deb by Alice Kimberly
What I like about the book is that Jack talks like a detective from the 1940s. All the slang and vernacular of the time and then crashes into the contemporary dialogue of now. A fun read. enjoy.
Through My Eyes by Ruby Bridges
This is a must listen to book, read by Ruby Bridges herself. A brave little girl who didn't fully understand at the beginning her purpose and role until much later. Her parents view of if she should go to a all white school or not. So many layers to this book. She talks about her adult life to and how the events of the day influenced her much later. A good and important listen to.
