The Black Witch Chronicles: The Black Witch by Laurie Forest
The audio book is great. I like this fantasy book, first no sex but there is an attraction. It immolates what is happening in the world today. Leaders who have hidden agendas, persecution close to a holocaust just placed in a fantasy world rather then the real world. Think Harry Potter meets the evening news and classes in history. I'm getting this for the library. Enjoy.
Reawakened: Recreated by Colleen Houck
Fine for any high school library. It's an mythological fantasy adventure love story. The audiobook is good also. Enjoy.
Haunted Home Renovation Mystery: If Walls Could Talk by Juliet Blackwell
I do enjoy a good murder mystery and the audiobook is enjoyable. It's a good read. or a good listen too!

Beast by Brie Spangler
This is a brutally honest book. No magic just reality. It's hard enough fitting in to high school and this book addresses it. What's more is Dylan finds out he falls in love with Jamie. Then he finds out Jamie is a transgender. Everyone's world changes in this book. It's a good story and I'm glad the public library carries this book. I listened to the audio book.
A Madness so Discreet: by Mindy McGinnis
This is a great book and I would buy for my high school library. Mindy McGinnis has a certain style of writing that works. Her stories are twisted and gritty. This is my third book by her. It's an oppressive time for women in this story. Grace comes from a wealthy well known family from Boston. It turns out she is pregnant and it was her father her has created the situation. There is also a serial murderer on the loose. It's part murder mystery and all power struggle. It's an intensely good read.

Enjoying M. C. Beaton's audio books while driving errands and cleaning house. Not a murder mystery but a romance.
Daughters of Mannerling: The Deception by Marion Chesney, M. C. Beaton
I'm hooked on M. C. Beaton books. Especially audio books. Turns out this is a romance series. If you're in the mood for a regency romance, then here's a suggestion.
Beyond the Bright Sea by Lauren Wolk
This book is perfect for elementary and middle school libraries. It also includes an island that was a colony for people with the leprosy disease off the east coast where pirates buried treasure. It's a good read and a good audio book. Enjoy.

When It’s Real by Erin Watt
Nope, this story has been done before in better style. Not for high school libraries. I wanted to stop reading the story but forced myself to get to the end. Save your m money and time on this one.
Twisted Tales: Once Upon a Dream by Liz Braswell
It's a good story. I was always trying to figure out a story line for the princess who slept through all the action. This is a smart answer to the question. Fine for any library. Enjoy.

Miss Julia: Miss Julia Strikes Back by Ann B. Ross
This is one funny book and the audio book is enjoyable to listen to. Miss Julia is one fine old school southern lady who has a good head for business. Her first husband wasn't so good and years later she finally remarries. She's a woman on a mission when she goes after thieves. Very dangerous thieves. It's pretty funny.

Downton Abbey meets Jane Austen. Murder and mayhem with a hint of romance. The audio book is good. Enjoy.
Edwardian Murder Mystery: Snobbery with Violence by Marion Chesney
Think Jane Austen meets Downton Abbey plus Heart to Heart and you have an entertaining book to read. Enjoy. Not for high school library. The audio book is a good listen. Marion Chesney is also known as M. C. Beaton

Agatha Raisin: Agatha Raisin and the Haunted House by M. C. Beaton
Anna and the Swallow Man by Gavriel Savit
I'm not sure about this one. It's written beautifully but there are some dangerous moments when Anna is forced to do some things naked that little girls shouldn't do. I think I would skip it as a choice for the library but it is perfect for public libraries. The story is for mature readers. It's a hard read. Keep in mind it's when there are both German and Soviet soldiers and the two main characters have to survive to live.
Sunny: Swing it, Sunny by Jennifer L. Holm & Matthew Holm
It's a good graphic novel that is set in the 1970's. You'll see lots of 70's references. It's fine for any middle school library.

The Conspiracy of Us: The Ends of the the World by Maggie Hall
The series is fine for high school libraries. A bit of romance, adventure and danger with a touch of political play and tragedy to make the story a page turner.
Court of Fives: Court of Fives By Kate Elliott
It's a pretty good story. The writing is a bit simplistic but the story gets better as book 2 picks up
It's fine for any library.
Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert
This book is the ultimate diverse story. Suzette is an African-American teen who's step brother is a red headed Jewish teen with emotional and mental health concerns. Suzette is also attracted to both boys and girls. And had to face some bullies at her boarding school. She also learns about sex while away. It's a good story and great for public and personal libraries. Before you put it in a high school library, read the book first so you'll know what it is about. It is a good read.

The Star-Touched Queen: A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi
It's a magical story beautifully told. The first book was wonderful and now enjoy the second book. It feels like it's from India or an India like world. Magic, fighting, journey and romance make this a charming story to enjoy. I'm getting this for my high school library.
Hunter Series: APEX by Mercedes Lackey
It's a great series. Set in a future time and there is a war between the world of faeries and the world of humans. The story line works because the plot is entertaining and suspenseful. Good character and the relationships ring true. It's a good read and I will pick up the series for my library.

Solo Kwame Alexander & Mary Rand Hess

It's a good series. Think Harry Potter meets The Immortal Instruments. Enjoy. Audio book is also good. Enjoy.

It's a good listen and makes a good gift for graduates, bosses and leaders such as principals to presidents.
