I liked this fantasy adventure. The twins father was an abuser and alcoholic. The mother doesn't see what her children need. The brother is attracted to boys and the sister doesn't know what to do with her special gift. There is a dangerous enemy invading the lands. Lots of power plays. It's a good book. Also audio book very good too.
