This is a cute book and when students ask for romance books for teens, this is a great one to share out. I'm getting this one for my high school library. A cute read. Enjoy.
As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Dread Nation Deathless Divide by Justina Ireland
Justina Ireland does a good job telling a story. Her characters, plot and flow of words works well. I'm looking forward to reading more of her work. The audio book reader does a great job bringing the characters to life. Enjoy.

The Trials of Apollo The Tyrant’s Tomb by Rick Riordan
Adventure, mythology, contemporary settings and fighting zombies and evil kings, it's the perfect edition to add to any school or personal library. Enjoy. I know I'll have to add this to my high school library. Audio book also very good.

Dread Nation by Justina Ireland
The audio book really captures a feel for an old west type life in this alternative historical fantasy that has zombies known as shufflers in this story. A very clever book and great drama. Fine for any high school library. Enjoy.

Shadow Magic Burning Magic by Joshua Khan
I hope there are more books in this series. It's that good. Think middle ages Harry Potter with a hint of romance. Great characters and lots of action. Goth and fire and magic. Oh and throw in some zombies and you have the makings of an entertaining story.

Shadow Magic Dream Magic by Joshua Khan
This is a good add to any school library. Think Harry Potter goes back to ancient times and you've got a great series. I'm already starting the third book in this series. It's a good buy and a good read. Enjoy.

Shadowshaper by Daniel Jose Older
I do like this story. It' brings in legends and magic in a hispanic Caribbean culture. I appreciate that art, music and stories can create magic. Culture and respect to elder's knowledge are woven into the story set in a contemporary time frame. It's an easy story for reluctant readers to give it a read. Enjoy.

Chronicles of Nick: Infinity Sherrilyn Kenyon
Think Vladimer Tod meets zombies and demons. It's a teen who is half human and half demon. Nick is finding himself. I should mention his mother has a heart of gold, and is a stripper. His father is in jail. Nick is the target of a group who is after him. It's fine but I wouldn't buy for a high school library.

Reboot by Amy Tintera
One of the better zombie books I've read. Although there are no mention of zombies in the book. These dead are not what we think of zombies. They have "lives", eat, drink and does the dirty work of an evil organization guised to help humanity. I actually liked the book. You have to feel sympathy for the rebooted soldiers. They have become slaves and prisoners as they work and believe the lies they are being fed. I will look forward to reading the

Necropolis by Anthony Horowitz
It's a page turner! The story continues. I like the concept of the teens opening doors that are keyed to only them and it takes them to another part of the world. Of course there are dangers at every turn. Very smart book.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
I think the book needed an editor who could help this book. The concept is interesting but there are holes in the story that needed to be sorted out better. It was painful to read.
