Born to Fly by Steve Sheinkin

I'm adding this to my school library.  The thrill of flying and the dangers of a new era starting the wild rides of airplanes.  Piloting planes by women goes beyond the novelty of it and the biases they also faced. Centered in this book is the first Woman's Derby, a race of amazing women with a lot of character flying the race.  A good read and a good audio book.  Enjoy.

This is a cute murder mystery.  A good read.  Nothing like a mystery.

The Pumpkin War by Cathleen Young

My Own Words by Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Hartnett & Williams

This book must be listened to because you get to hear Ruth and her husband, Marty speak as well as the narrator.  The words flow easily and become alive when you hear the original people speaking.  A good book to add to any library.

When You Were Everything by Ashley Woodfolk

Not an easy read but a good read.  When friendships change, it can be really difficult and how do you talk about it.  Who listens.  It's nice that there is a story about the change of friendships.  There are some mature moments and also not easy when the main character makes some not the best choices in behavior.
