As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection by John Green
Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection by John Green The audiobook was read by the author. I highly recommend this book. Maybe not for high school libraries unless there is research on disease or a ROP nursing program. Very informative. I learned a lot. Glad the book was written.

The brain by David Eagleman
Easy to read or listen to the audio books. Filled with studies and facts to make the brain intereting.
David Eagleman writes to regular people and it all makes sense. He has done his research well. A good read.

Apollo’s Arrow by Nicholas A Christakis
This is an important read. I highly recommend it. I think it would be great in college, public and law libraries. I am tempted to get this for my high school library. It's a good read and a good audio book.

The Body by Bill Bryson
A great book to read or listen to. We have a nursing program in my high school. I think this book would fit in my high school library. We also have anatomy classes. I would add this to my non-fiction section in my library. Very interesting and written as a easy read. The author also reads his book and it's a good listen too!

Mastering Diabetes by Khambatta & Barbaro
It is a different way of looking at Diabetes and how to manage it. A lot made me think. It is explained in a relatable manner. Worth reading if you are interested in Diabetes. The audio book also good.
