Dreamland by Sarah Dessen

I had a very hard time reading this book, just because of the subject of abusive relationships.  It's an excellent book.  Right up there with Split.  Very realistic.  It's an important read and yes I would have it in a school library because you never know if it might help someone.  It does end in a positive note.  You can never go wrong with a Sarah Dessen book.  Read the book.  It's hard but read the book.

That Summer by Sarah Dessen

Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea

Think back to your favorite teacher.  Read this book.  Class dynamics of different student personalities and an accident in the snow.  We all make a difference one way or another.

Solid characters and a solid story, that is both realistic and a good read.

Waistcoats & Weaponry by Gail Carriger

Okay it's steampunk.  But it's funny and adventurous and refreshing.  It's the Victorian age meets Inspector Gadget.  It's fine for any library.  Probably an acquired taste.  It's a fun read.  I'm hooked on this series also.  Looking forward to the next book.

Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas

If you like Lord of the Rings, this is the book for you.  Solid story. Solid characters.  Enjoy

White Cat by Holly Black

I always loved the fairytale of the White Cat.  This story becomes a contemporary story.  You don't know who to trust in this family.  I would say this book is more for personal libraries or public libraries.

The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury

Twylla has lived a sheltered life and that is a lonely life and isolated.  Now she has the attention of two suitors.  Her guard and her prince.    Oh when the secrets come out she faces the threat of death.

It's a page turner.  Lots of romance.  Not a strong character as she is naive.  The queen is the one who is strong.  Watch out for the dangerous queen.  Enjoy!

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

Another page turner this one is.  Heavy on the romance and teasing.  Solid characters.  Get this book and it will fly off the shelves.  Lots of drama and it works.  Looking forward to continue reading the series.  Enjoy.

The Fire Horse Girl by Kay Honeyman

This is a great story.  Would be great for any shelf in any library.  Enjoy.

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

It's a whole revised story bringing the land of Oz up to speed.  The beloved characters are now dangerous demented bad people.  There are also some f*bombs.  I would say okay for personal libraries or public libraries, not sure I would have in a high school library.  It's a dark story.
