This is a sweet story... almost like Circle of Life type of story. The joys of having pets as they grow up and learn from each other and then an older cat passes away. The younger cat now becomes the mentor of a new kitten and the story continues. The images are powerful. Simple yet powerful with bold strokes and done in only black and white. Well crafted and sensitive to a reader's love of animals and the loss of an animal. Fine for any library.
