A Sudden Light by Garth Stein

Family dysfunction at its finest.  Wait till you get to the end!  Seen through the eyes of Trevor, who only wants his parents to get back together and be a family again, the old world of his grand and great grand parents past is an eye opener.  His aunt is a women who is a mystery, which he is figuring out, his father is blind to facts that are before him and his grandfather is not all together there.  And then there is the ghost of his great uncle who also had secrets and a desire to have some thing set straight and taken care of in honor of a lost love.  This is an adult book  not a YA book.  I chose this book because I wanted to read more of Garth Stein's work after reading The Art of Racing in the Rain and the YA version of Racing in the Rain.
