This has been an interesting read, combining fantasy and those with X-Men type powers. Facing prejudices and brutal abuse and finding power. How Adelina yield that power after she has been treated with unkindness is an interesting study. She's no angel. The story moves at a good tempo. It's fine for any library. Enjoy. It would help to read the books in a row with no gaps.
