It's the story of a man who emotionally abuses a young naive woman to force her to marrying him. He's controlling and isolates her. A dangerous man. It's an abuse story. There's also attempted seduction setups. This story isn't the best story. The main character is very naive and thinks she can help him. You'll have to read the end to see how it turns out. I wouldn't put it in a high school library. The story is dark and dangerous. Not my favorite story. Not at all. Took a lot of effort to finish the story. It's a power play with money and abuse.
