Kit's Wilderness by David Almond

I recommend listening to the audio book.  It's a feast for the ears.  It's a strange story but crafted in a lyrical writing style.  This is a good literature piece.  A fine addition to any school or public library.
It's not for the average reader.  If you have an appreciation for fine writing, then this is it.
