The Sight by Judy Blundell

The writing style reflects and honesty of a teen who has lost her mother and has the gift of psychic ability that sometimes reveals people's secrets.  The raw shock of losing her mother, living with her very strict grandparents and now shuffled off to her aunt, she's disengaged.  But that changes when a friend of her's has disappeared.

The writing is good and the story line works.  I recommend for teen libraries.
