As a teacher-librarian, I have the opportunity to read young adult books to share with my students. The list that I have provided will have an overview of the book and personal comments. They are on a Book-mercial style image to get a taste of the essence of the book.

Sapphique by Catherine Fisher
Part two of this dystopian society and it lives up to the promise of a mind blowing story. I couldn't wait to get home to finish it today. Very smart story. The character development of all characters both major and minor are fleshed out perfectly. The persona of The Prison/Incarceron, the cold puppetmastery of the Queen Sia and faithful Jarred as well as the unpredictable Keiro and the freed slave Attia make this story work as you read Finn and Claudia's struggle to reset the worlds as they know it. Brilliant story.
